The Lidl Distribution Center is a modern logistics hub located in Pruszcz Gdański. It is responsible for the efficient distribution of food products to Lidl stores across Poland. The center ensures effective supply chain management, guaranteeing the availability of a wide range of products in Lidl stores.

To ensure fire safety in the facility, MERCOR natural smoke exhaust systems were used. Skylights and wall-mounted rooflights were applied to provide daylight and additional ventilation.

Ensuring the safety of users is one of the key requirements influencing the design of every building. Staircases are the main route for the safe evacuation of people, which is why it is crucial to equip them with an efficient smoke exhausting system. This system is used to remove smoke, fire gases, and heat generated during a fire from the building to the outside.

Their main function of mcr PROSMOKE FS/CE smoke curtains is to create smoke zones within the building. These smoke zones prevent the uncontrolled spread of smoke, allowing for the maintenance of a smoke-free layer above the floor. Properly designed and installed smoke curtains optimize the flow of smoke and direct it towards the smoke vents.

Louvered smoke vents mcr LAM are a key element of the natural smoke exhausting system. As automatic smoke exhaust devices, they have the CE Certificate of Conformity WE-196-CPD-0032 in accordance with the PN-EN 12101-2 standard.
