EXPLOSION HAZARD AREAS

Explosion hazard zones require solutions designed for operation in environments where flammable gases, mists, vapours or dust may be present. The devices used must not only perform their ventilation and fire protection functions effectively but also meet strict explosion protection requirements.

Solutions designed for EX zones support air flow control, smoke extraction and the protection of ventilation systems in industrial, warehouse and technological facilities. Compliance with the ATEX Directive allows them to be used wherever it is necessary to minimise the risk of ignition of an explosive atmosphere.
