mcr FID S/S p/P, mcr FID S/S p/O - SINGLE-BLADE FIRE CUT-OFF DAMPER

mcr FID S/S p/P, mcr FID S/S p/O cut-off dampers are designed for installation in general ventilation systems, at the point of penetration of these installations through building partitions. During fire, they allow to maintain fire resistance of the building partition through which ventilation and air conditioning ducts run. They also prevent propagation of fire, smoke and fire gases to the safe part of the building.

Cut-off dampers of fire resistance independent from direction of air flow and of installation side. Dampers for rectangular and rounded ventilation ducts.

When made for potentially explosive zones (EX variant), the dampers may operate in zone 1 (risk of explosion of gases inside and outside of ventilation ducts) and zone 21 (risk of explosion of dust outside ducts). The dampers conform to the requirements of group II category 2G and -/2D.

Making variants:

• mcr FID S/S [BFL…-T, BFN…-T, BF…-T, EXBF] – fire cut-off damper for ventilation ducts, with electric actuator with return spring with thermoelectric trigger - closing and opening of damper using actuator
• mcr FID S/S [RST] – fire cut-off damper for ventilation ducts with spring actuator and thermal activator
• mcr FID S/S [RST/KW1] – fire cut-off duct for ventilation ducts with spring actuator with integrated thermal activator; electromagnetic activator and limit switches available optionally

Additional equipment:

• WK1 – limit switch (closed barrier signal)
• WK2 – limit switch ( damper open/shut signal)

mcr FID S/S dampers can be used as pressure-relief dampers in gas extinguishing systems; in this case they are equipped with actuators without thermoelectric or thermal activators.
