Digitizing MERCOR products
What exactly does a fire damper or smoke extraction fan look like? MERCOR offers an innovative way to present products in the form of 3D models.
Fire protection devices installed in various facilities are often invisible after installation – covered by additional systems or simply mounted in inaccessible spaces. Therefore, it's difficult to see exactly what they look like or how they operate. These products are often relatively large, preventing physical presentation during meetings or training sessions.
MERCOR has a solution: photorealistic 3D models that allow users to not only familiarize themselves with the technical details of the products but also implement them in various visualization programs.

3D Innovation
MERCOR offers an innovative way to present products as 3D models. 3D models provide extensive insight into the geometry, technical details, and materials of individual components. They can also be implemented in a variety of media, enabling the presentation and visualization of devices and solutions used in designed facilities.
Models are available for fire ventilation, natural smoke extraction, and fire protection systems for building structures.

Where to find MERCOR 3D models?
Models are available both on the Sketchfab platform and on the individual MERCOR product pages. They allow you to not only rotate the product 360 degrees but also zoom in and out to examine details or materials. A Virtual Reality (VR) model view is also available.
You can also generate a PDF file for a given product from the selected view, which can be useful as part of the documentation you're completing.

For visualization, models can be downloaded in OBJ format, among others, which can be implemented in many programs supporting the creation of high-quality visualizations, such as Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Unity, Unreal Engine, 3D Viewer Max, ArchiCAD, and Microsoft 3D Viewer.
To use the models in PowerPoint presentations, download the model in GLB format.

Advantages of digitizing MERCOR products and presenting 3D models
3D models allow for workflow optimization and their use in a wide variety of applications.
- the ability to present large-scale products in various media,
- any model arrangement to show its details,
- recognition of the materials from which products are made,
- reduced costs of generating visualizations,
- the ability to implement them into visualization software,
- the ability to generate product data sheets in PDF format,
- the ability to use them in PowerPoint presentations.
