Another edition of the FeuerTrutz trade fair is over

The FeuerTrutz trade fair in Nuremberg is an annual meeting place for fire protection industry professionals. A strong MERCOR team represented the natural smoke exhausting and fire ventilation product lines. There was also plenty of space for presentations of the DFM fire and burglar-resistant door range.

Interesting and inspiring discussions about products and solutions, as well as new business contacts, were the result of this year's FeuerTrutz in Nuremberg, Germany.

MERCOR presented products related to natural smoke exhausting and fire ventilation at its booth.

The aesthetic and functional OSO Therm smoke exhausting windows were a hit with visitors, as were the mcr LAM louvre vent and the mcr PROLIGHT smoke exhausting and skylight line, displayed in the central display. The purpose of smoke vents and windows is to reduce temperature and remove smoke from rooms engulfed in flames, which, by improving visibility, also facilitates the work of rescue and firefighting teams. Skylights and skylights, on the other hand, primarily ensure optimal lighting of buildings and energy savings by increasing the intensity of natural light, thus reducing energy costs.

In terms of fire ventilation, a large mcr WIP PROV fire damper for multi-zone and single-zone fire ventilation systems was presented.

A freestanding display showcased products such as the mcr FID PRO – a low-resistance, round, single-blade fire damper for comfort ventilation systems. Next to it was the mcr FID S/V-M p/P – a single-blade fire damper for multi-zone fire ventilation systems. The WIP LD damper, installed alongside the dampers mentioned above, was a multi-blade fire damper for multi-zone fire ventilation systems. The mcr PASAT rooftop smoke extraction fan, designed to remove smoke and hot air from rooms during a fire, was also on display.

The stand also featured a showcase of DFM fire and burglar-resistant doors. The stand had a very international feel – the MERCOR exhibition attracted interest from visitors from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Hungary, Greece, and Finland, among others.

The next edition of FeuerTrutz is just a year away – it will take place on June 24-25, 2026. See you there!
