Up-to-date mcr Tech Lab solutions for shopping malls
Shopping malls consume huge amounts of electricity every day. Can this consumption be monitored and minimized? The answer comes with new solutions from mcr Tech Lab, which measure the use of electricity in real time, divided into stores, shopping islands or mall zones.
Each shop or shopping island located in the mall requires constant access to electricity to function effectively. At the same time, each tenant wants to minimize losses and reduce costs - including those related to the use of electricity.
The use of intelligent energy meters in shopping malls allows for effective management of energy consumption, precise billing for tenants, optimization of operating costs and improvement of the energy efficiency of the entire facility.
– The solutions we offer to shopping malls measure the use of electricity in real time, divided into stores, shopping islands or zones in the mall – explains Jakub Awieruk, software developer from mcr Tech Lab. – Administrators can track information about current use from the mcr Tech System mobile and web application – he adds.
Wireless and failure-free
Measuring the use of electricity by individual stores and shopping islands is possible thanks to the use of electricity meters with Modbus communication or LoRaWAN wireless communication. Single-phase, intelligent energy meters have the functionality of remotely turning on and off electrical circuits (ON-OFF). The use of such a solution is useful, for example, in the event of a breakdown, saving energy outside working hours or controlling the unauthorized use of electrical devices.
Facility managers are able to precisely analyze which areas consume the most energy, thereby enabling faster system modernization and introducing cost optimization programs. All information about current consumption, usage history and many other parameters is available to administrators from the MCR Tech System mobile and web application.
The solutions offered by mcr Tech Lab are based on certified meters, compliant with European standards and can be used in official settlements.
