Projects of MERCOR Romania 2024

Interesting, demanding investments and customers returning with new projects are the result of MERCOR Romania's activities in 2024. The company proudly presents projects completed over the past year.

MERCOR Romania is a company operating within the MERCOR group since 2006. By offering solutions in the field of passive fire protection, it provides security on the Romanian market. The quality of the services provided and installed products is confirmed not only by the large projects that the company implements, but above all by returning customers.

“The greatest pleasure and pride for us is when a client returns with subsequent projects” explains Dorin Ionita, Managing Director of MERCOR Romania. “One of them is the Madrugada Group. We started cooperation in 2021 and we are very proud that this year we have already contracted the fourth stage of the expansion of Madrugada. We are also very pleased with the Knauf Insulation project, which includes 120 pieces of mcr PROLIGHT smoke exhaust vents and 130 pieces of louvre vents” says Dorin Ionita.

The biggest challenge the company had to face in 2024 was the project One Lake, which included fire dampers.

“All competitors sent an offer of fire vents based on the dimensions of the project, while MERCOR Romania sent an offer based on the active area” reveals Dorin Ionita. “Ultimately, MERCOR Romania won because the active surface of MERCOR fire vents is better than that of the competition”.

In 2025, the company hopes to acquire new, interesting projects, continue to take care of the development and support of large, returning investors.
