MCR FIRE – fire hazard detection system
mcrFIRE system from mcr TECH LAB is a compact, intelligent, wireless fire detection and alarm system for buildings, using safe and reliable radio detection and transmission technology.
In the new video episode from the ‘Security 4.0’ series, we present the operation of the system using as the example an electric heater fire in an office container at a construction site.
The mcr FIRE wireless fire alarm system was installed in the office containers used as a management and administration center. The control panel and smoke detectors are placed in key locations to quickly detect fire threats.
The failure of an electric heater is one of the possible threats of an open flame causing a fire. When a threat is detected, the mcr FIRE system control panel immediately activates an acoustic alarm and additionally sends a text message and e-mail notifications to the construction manager. An immediate response allows to limit the damage, carry out the evacuation efficiently and safely, and quickly return to work on the construction site.
