mcr Tech Lab took 2nd place at URBAN TECH Hackathon
On November 29 and 30, 2022, representatives of MCR Tech Lab competed with over 30 companies from 12 European Union countries during the URBAN TECH hackathon, taking 2nd place on the podium!
URBAN TECH is an acceleration program for European startups, the aim of which is to increase the competitiveness of the Health Tech, Smart City and Greentech industries. It seeks innovative solutions to the challenges of cross-sectoral and cross-border organizations and connects various stakeholders in the value chain. The project provides support to SMEs and start-ups in increasing the potential of their solution.
Business acceleration takes place after the completion of hackathons, during which company representatives take part in workshops and present their solutions - the best ones can receive grants of a total value of over EUR 50,000.
The "Advanced Fire Monitoring System" solution, proposed by a company from the Mercor Group - MCR Tech Lab, was appreciated by the jury for its ease of use, flexibility and comprehensive approach to the problem. As part of URBAN TECH, MCR Tech Lab will face new challenges that will help the company refine the solution and enter the European market with it.
