On November 22nd, 2024, Mercor S.A. signed a preliminary agreement for the sale of shares in the company's group companies holding assets related to the operation of gravity smoke extraction systems, roof lighting systems and fire ventilation systems.

The contract party is Kingspan société à responsabilité limitée, a subsidiary of the Kingspan Group, originating from Ireland and operating in 80 countries around the world.

"This is a very important step for us. Thanks to the planned sale, we will gain an investor who wants to include our products in the gravity smoke extraction and fire ventilation segments in their offer and continue to develop them under the MERCOR brand," informs Krzysztof Krempeć, President of the Management Board of Mercor S.A. "Thanks to the planned sale, we will gain funds to implement our new business plans, including in the area of Fire Safety 4.0. We also plan to strengthen our position in the field of fire protection of building structures and fire doors and gates, as well as energy storage," he adds.
