A New Solution for Multi‑Zone Fire Ventilation – mcr WIP LDX
mcr WIP LDX is a multi‑blade fire and smoke control damper designed for multi‑zone fire ventilation systems.
The product has been developed to ensure a high level of safety and reliable performance under fire conditions.
The damper meets the following fire resistance classifications:
- EI120 (vew i→o) S1500 C10 000 AA multi
- E120 (vew i↔o) S500 C10 000 AA multi
which ensures effective protection against fire, smoke and fire gases.
The damper is dedicated for installation in smoke exhaust and air supply shafts.
It features a large effective free area (up to 2.53 m²), low airflow resistance, and allows for fast, certified installation, including installation together with a system grille compliant with EN 12101‑8.
A wide range of standard dimensions and the option to manufacture intermediate sizes enable precise adaptation of the solution to specific project requirements.
The mcr WIP LDX is used, among others, in production and warehouse halls, logistics centres, public buildings, commercial and service facilities, as well as residential buildings.
The product has been tested in accordance with EN 1366‑10, classified according to EN 13501‑4, and certified in compliance with EN 12101‑8.
The damper holds the Declaration of Performance No. 001‑11‑CPR‑2025.
