mcr FEN jet fans are used in fire ventilation systems. They are intended for forced extraction of hot air, smoke and combustion gases generated during fire. Due to their design, air or smoke is exhausted as a jet forced at a specific flow rate in a specific direction. The design of the fans facilitates localised vertical aspiration of smoke, followed by horizontal forcing from the exhaust end. This facilitates smoke venting from confined spaces, including garage rooms, or precision smoke extraction from specific volumes of space.
This equipment is designed for indoor use.
