Fire in a production and warehouse building - a new episode of the mcrTOWN series "Safe MERCOR City" is now available on the YouTube channel.

One of the most detrimental fires that can occur in a warehouse facility is a fire on the floor in the production and warehouse area, which, due to the large amount of flammable materials stored on high shelves, will rapidly develop into a symmetrical column of convective smoke.

On average, we experience over 1000 such fire incidents in Poland each year, and this number is rapidly increasing. The lack of a properly designed fire protection system not only poses a risk of losses but also becomes a serious obstacle to receiving insurance payouts. That is why it is crucial for the facility to have a smoke extraction system based on certified equipment, which will not only enable safe evacuation and improve working conditions for firefighters during rescue and firefighting operations but also allow for the limitation of material losses.
