MCR SERVICE – A FEW QUESTIONS TO THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT
1. How often should periodic technical inspections of „MERCOR” S.A. equipment be carried out?
Periodic technical inspections and maintenance of equipment included in the gravity smoke exhaust systems (smoke exhaust vents, smoke exhaust windows, smoke curtains and control units for these devices) should be carried out every 6 months.
Periodic technical inspections and maintenance of equipment included in the fire ventilation systems (fire dampers, fans and control units for these devices) in accordance with the provisions of the operation and maintenance documentation should be carried out every 12 months.
Inspections should be carried out throughout the entire lifetime of the equipment, i.e. during the warranty period as well as after its termination.
Information on the frequency of inspections has been included in the operation and maintenance documentation of the devices.
2. What is the cost of extending the warranty on equipment manufactured by "MERCOR" S.A.?
The offer for the supply of equipment includes the maximum warranty period that is possible for a given case. It is possible to extend this period if "MERCOR" S.A. performs regular service and maintenance inspections of installed devices.
3. Who is authorized to inspect the fire protection devices manufactured by "MERCOR" S.A.?
The producer or companies having appropriate authorization issued by a producer, are authorized to carry out inspections of fire protection devices manufactured by "MERCOR" S.A.
4. Where does the obligation to carry out inspections of fire protection devices come from?
The obligation results from the provisions of fire protection1,2 in accordance with Journal of Laws of the Republic of Poland. It is also included in the operation and maintenance documentation of the devices.

5. Is it possible to sign a service contract with “MERCOR” S.A.?
"MERCOR" S.A. Service Department offers cooperation based on one-off orders and a permanent service contract. The conclusion of such a contract has many benefits such as: lower price for inspections, monitoring the dates of performed inspections, shortened operation time in emergencies. 6. How can I report a problem with a “Mercor S.A.” device or system?
If the device is under the warranty, you should send the following information to reklamacje@mercor.com.pl: a notification containing a brief description of the fault, the name and location of the facility where the devices are installed, contact details of the applicant and the contract or invoice number that confirms the purchase of the device. After sending the e-mail, you will receive an automatic information - confirmation of the application. Submitted applications will be considered by the complaint team. For devices that are no longer under the warranty, you can send an email with information about the problem to serwis@mercor.com.pl or contact us by phone at: +48 661 22 66 66. 7. Where can I send back the complaint product?
In order to make a complaint, you must first send it to the address: reklamacje@mercor.com.pl. The report should contain a brief description of the fault, name and location of the facility where the devices are installed, contact details of the declarant and the number of contract or invoice that confirms the purchase.
The specialist who deals with the complaint will contact you in order to inform you to which address the complained product should be sent.
