OPTICAL SMOKE SENSORS

Optical smoke sensor enable early detection of a fire, when the material is smoldering,
and when the temperature rises before an open flame breaks out. They are resistant
to wind, pressure changes and water vapor condensation. They are highly sensitive
to visible smoke.

Construction of the sensor:

infrared LED - emits a light beam
the receiving diode is placed in the labyrinth tunnel - it activates
the detector, initiating the transition to the alarm state
